Having 35 paid entries (47 vehicles total on display) proved timing to be everything for this year’s show. Although there was some confusion on the date, a few out-of-state Hot August Night participants stopped by on their way out of town and the show once again concluded as another successful event. Next year, the club has scheduled this event for July 18, 2015. A new friend has been made – a director of HAN who has offered to assist in the promotion of next year’s show.

The club would like to thank all those who attended, the wives
(Patricia, Sue, Leanne and Larry) and neighbors who pitched in with the setup, traffic control, cooking and serving.

Special thanks to:
Mikael Brandt of Brunch Graphics and his team from the Carson City Chapter Freaks of Nature Car Club for once again handling the creative event posters, cards, entry fees and DJ duties. More thanks to Joe Curtis for handling the picture plaques for all entrants. Joe also created the car show banners...thanks again Joe. We appreciate all the businesses who donated gifts: Comstock Creamery & Catering, Ponderosa Saloon, Bucket of Blood Saloon, Priscilla Pennyworth’s Photos, Garters & Bloomers Old Time Photos, Bonanza Café, Old Corner Bar, VC Station, Core Dinner House, Red’s Old Fashioned Candies, Comstock Corner and PanaVise Products, Inc.

Club Member Sue Minor won the 50/50 raffle and donated her winnings of $148 back to the club.

The UNR Wolf Pack Race Team expresses its gratitude for being able to display their formula car. They were pleased with the amount donations received.
